Growing our community partnerships
In 2025, InLife welcomed new community partners and expanded existing relationships, helping connect more people through inclusive events, volunteering and community participation.
Community has always been an important part of life at InLife. This year, we were pleased to continue building on that by welcoming new partners and expanding how we connect with people beyond our day-to-day supports.
In 2025, we began a partnership with the Football Integration Development Association (FIDA), working together to deliver three inclusive, InLife Tackle-Free Football Carnivals across Victoria. Across these events, hundreds of players took part, supported by more than 40 InLife volunteers who helped bring the days to life and ensure everyone could participate and feel part of a team.
These carnivals open up footy so everyone can have a go, creating opportunities for participation, confidence and connection for people of all abilities.
This year, FIDA was recognised at the 2025 Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Awards, receiving a Highly Commended acknowledgement in the Sport Initiative or Event of the Year category for the InLife Tackle Free Carnivals. The recognition is a credit to the FIDA community and highlights the power of inclusive sport when it’s done well.
We also extended our long-standing partnership with GO Salary into a community partnership. Already supporting InLife as our salary packaging partner, GO Salary joined us at our end-of-year events this year, helping us connect with more people and create shared moments of celebration across our community.
“Partnerships like these help us bring people together in ways that matter,” said David Storey, Head of Communications and Engagement at InLife.
“They allow us to reach more people and support moments of connection that wouldn’t happen without shared effort.”
GO Salary echoed that shared focus.
“Being involved at a community level allows us to support inclusion and connection in a meaningful way,” said Ben Markovic, Director of Client Services at GO Salary.
“It’s something we’re proud to be part of alongside InLife.”
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited to deepen our relationships with both FIDA and GO Salary and continue growing the role community partnerships play at InLife. We’re also keen to welcome new partners who want to support inclusive, connected communities.
