The information we collect helps us to keep up-to-date details regarding your support needs and in doing so enables us to provide the best possible service for you, including to continually improve our services over time.

Do I have to tell you everything about my health?
We rely on the information you provide to us in order to formulate a concise client plan that is tailored to your specific care needs. It is your right to not disclose personal information to InLife, as long as it does not place or expose either yourself or our team members to any risks as a result of your non-disclosure. The information we collect about you allows us to fulfill our duty of care. If we do not have sufficient information about your health care needs we may not be able to provide a service to you.

How will my information be protected?
InLife is committed to protecting our clients’ privacy and confidentiality to ensure that the dignity of individuals is upheld and respected at all times. All personal files are stored securely and all personal information is treated in the strictest of confidence.

Can I access my information?
You have the right to request access to your personal information and ask for it to be amended if deemed necessary.

Who else can access my information?
Your information is only available to InLife personnel who are involved in providing your support. Written consent to exchange information must be signed by you in order for your information to be available to a third party. Disclosure is also permitted where it is deemed there is serious risk to your, or a third party’s health or safety.
