Destiny Ukwu

After studying nursing in Nigeria, Destiny came to Australia almost 11 years ago and gained experience working across the community health sector.

Destiny was drawn to disability services because she is passionate about human rights and ensuring everyone is treated equally. She has worked as a support worker, house coordinator and as an NDIS participant response coordinator in government and disability organisations.

When Destiny’s not at work, you’ll find her belting out 80s hits (despite the protests of her kids!) and cooking up a storm. Destiny loves experimenting with recipes and her speciality is jollof rice and plantains.
