Benalla

Naomi has been in the community service sector for 25 years. She started out in mental health and bought her own supported accommodation unit on a whim at 23, after completing her degree in Disability and Management. This gave Naomi a big insight into getting involved advocacy and change within the sector. She was also a leader at Wyndham City Council and worked with Aboriginal communities in Darwin.

Outside of work, Naomi runs a veterans support group with her husband, who was in the army for 12 years. She has 3 children, and 2 are currently at uni. She also enjoys writing books and poetry and some of her work has been published overseas.
