Alexis Booth

Energetic and great in an emergency (she comes from a 000 background), Alexis “fell in love” with the disability sector while studying nursing in Ballarat. A placement at an aged care home saw her working with residents who had autism, sparking a move from taking ambulance emergency calls into support work.

Alexis worked her way up to a position as a coordinator and enjoys working in the disability sector because “no day is ever the same”. She also loves going to the gym (HIIT workouts in particular) and travelling. Her goal is to visit 30 countries before she turns 30.
