A shared love of animals connected InLife client James and assistant, Laura
InLife client James and support worker Laura make a terrific team.
They share many things in common including a love of animals, especially horses.
Laura’s first shift with James was driving him to equine therapy.
“James was my very first client. I think we're a great team because we've got so much in common.
“Working with James is just like hanging out with a friend and having fun with a friend. I honestly don't feel like I'm working.”
James says he feels comfortable having Laura as a support worker.
“When Laura first started with me I was very nervous to talk to her.
“So she’s always said that whenever I need talk to her, I don’t have to be nervous about anything.
“I can talk to her about anything and she’s helped me feel better about being open with her. We have an unbreakable bond.”
