Petrina Manoharan
CoordinatorGeelong
Petrina started out as an operating theatre and ICU nurse, mastering the art of staying calm under pressure. Eventually, she found her true calling in the disability sector, and hopes to lead her team with equal parts compassion, expertise, and a well-timed sense of humor. With a leadership style rooted in kindness (and just enough determination to rival a toddler on a sugar high), she strives to create an environment where both clients and staff feel supported, empowered, and occasionally entertained. She’s also pursuing her master’s in psychology and hopes to work with children who have dealt with trauma in the future.
Beyond work, Petrina is a proud pet parent to Bambi the cat (a tiny dictator with fur) and Archie the dog (a lovable goofball who thinks he’s in charge but really isn’t). She has a deep appreciation for spontaneous road trips, a fascination for collecting sneakers (although some would call it an addiction) and the fine art of binging an entire TV series in record time. Whether she is attempting to keep houseplants alive or over-analysing the ending of a book, Petrina is all about finding joy in the little things.
