A place to call home

Two families came together to build a house for their sons with InLife providing the support.

Introducing our specially trained team at the end of the phone line outside the 9-5.
InLife has changed the way it provides after-hours support to clients with a new specially trained team.
The current team includes after-hours coordinator Hanna Dajczer and after-hours specialists Shailvi Gala and Jessie Joshie.
All three are experienced disability support professionals based in Melbourne.
Clients and support workers will be able to reach a member of this team after-hours and on weekends and public holidays. Serious or emergency situations will continue to be escalated to an on-call coordinator.
Senior Client Service Manager Daniella Martin was on the project team behind the new after-hours service.
Following a trial in Geelong, the new service has now been rolled out across all regions.
Previously, InLife coordinators would be on-call after hours but the new process allows everybody access to more downtime, while the client still receives the same high level of support.
“The level of support from the team you love and trust is being carried forward on-call and the people that answer the phone are going to respond in the same way your (InLife) coordinator would,” Daniella said.
“You will get the same warm response you’d get from your coordinator and given their experience and training they have the ability to make decisions as needed.”
