Celebrating International Day of People with Disability 2025

We’re reflecting on the important contributions people with disability make and how we can create a more inclusive society.

This year’s International Day of People with Disability theme is “fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress”.

With one in 5 Australians living with disability, inclusion seems obvious, but we still have a long way to go.

At InLife, we want to do our bit to make sure everyone has the chance to take part, be heard and feel valued.

Our partnerships are a big part of this, too. We work with FIDA and VALiD, who create spaces where people can participate, speak up and feel genuinely included.

Whether it’s supporting someone to live more independently, get out into the community or connect with new opportunities, we’re always working towards a world where people with disability can shape their own lives.

A big thank you to everyone in the InLife community for the role you play in building more inclusive communities every day.
